Sue & Colin Lennox, Co Founders.
Sue is an impassioned champion for sustainable living and for transformative personal development. Her commitment to the environment was cemented following a local major water pollution event, a subsequent visit to India and her shock at the condition of the Ganges.
She and her husband Col then committed everything to their vision of inspiring and enabling people to work for environmental change. They gave up their jobs as teachers, sold their home and began the work of setting up OzGREEN as two volunteers working out of a borrowed garage. Since then OzGREEN has engaged over 1,000 schools and businesses in their environmental learning and leadership programs.
The calibre of OzGREEN and Sue’s work has been recognised widely via many national and international awards including the UN Media Peace award. Sue is an Australia Day Ambassador, a member of the Centre for Social Impact Advisory Council and was named as one of Sydney’s Top 100 Most Influential People by The Sydney Magazine.
