We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Country on which we walk, the Gumbaynggirr people of the Gumbaynggirr nation. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture and we pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
Bellingen Shire Bushwalks provides opportunities for tourists and community to explore and appreciate Bellingen Shire's beautiful natural environment. We offer a variety of walks between 4 and 10 kilometres long that are suitable for most levels of fitness.
Most of our walks are along NSW Forest Corporation fire trails and are graded either 3 or 4 using the Australian Walking Track Grading System. Occasionally we also walk through National Parks, Crown Lands and on private property when permission is granted.
As a not for profit organisation, OzGREEN relies on fundraising to fulfill its purpose of empowering people to love and protect the environment.
Our pricing for Bellingen Shire Bushwalks is:
- Individuals $10
- Families (2A 2C) $25
All funds raised from our walks will be used for local environmental activities, programs and events. We're currently raising $500 for bushfire affected youth in Thora, Dorrigo, Billys Creek, Dundurrabin, Tyringham, Hernani and Nymboida to attend an overnight Youth Leading the World environmental leadership program at Cascade Environment Centre.
If we have to cancel our walks because of bad weather or if you are unable to attend because something comes up we will give you a credit for a future walk.
To book, we require all participants to submit a registration form and process their payment prior to the walk. If you don't have access to a computer, please call 02 5615 8108 and we will register you manually. Walks are capped at 15 people to ensure everyone has a good experience.

Another beautiful walk in Tuckers Nob State Forest. This trail will be extra special in the early morning light and there is a stunning vista along the way. Please note the early Saturday morning start time and see trail information for details
Grade 3 Walk
This is a beautiful walk in Bindarri National Park and if we're lucky hundreds of birds will delight us with their glorious song.
