OzGREEN programs connect youth with communities to become leaders of innovative sustainable social change

Farewell Jane and Welcome Amy

Thankyou to our first Bellingen Riverwatch Coordinator, Jane Grant

This month we are farewelling our first Bellingen Riverwatch Coordinator, Jane Grant and welcoming Amy Denshire as the new Riverwatch Coordinator.

Jane has been with OzGREEN for three years and has played a key role in helping to get the Bellingen Riverwatch program off the ground.  She has done a great job supporting Riverwatch partners and volunteers, promoting the program and hosting vibrant events. In particular, we thank Jane for bringing together our hugely successful One-Year Celebration event in May which saw over 60 people come together to learn about citizen science and celebrate the first anniversary of Riverwatch.

We farewelled Jane with a dinner with local partners and volunteers to thank her for her wonderful work in this role over the past 18 months.

We are pleased to welcome Amy Denshire back to OzGREEN as the new Riverwatch Coordinator. Amy brings vast experience working on community programs and events over the past decade. She is excited to be working on the Bellingen Riverwatch program and to play a role in promoting river health and supporting the recovery of the Bellingen River Snapping Turtle. Amy looks forward to meeting all our fantastic volunteers who make this program possible.
