Volunteer

Our volunteers help monitor rivers, identify waterbugs, plant and care for trees, support events, work with schools, share knowledge or help behind the scenes.
Some people volunteer once. Others stay for years.

Your donation helps us create hands-on opportunities for people to connect, learn and take practical action, from STEM experiences for young people to citizen science, habitat restoration and community wellbeing programs.

Become a citizen scientist
Learn practical skills and help us understand and protect the places we live.
OzGREEN citizen scientists monitor river health, identify waterbugs, record wildlife and contribute information that helps build our understanding of local ecosystems. No previous experience needed.
