Lavenders Bridge community tree planting project

OzGREEN has brought community members and organisations together since April 2024 to regenerate a key section of the riverbank at Lavenders Bridge and the Bellingen Skatepark.

Community members, community groups, Council and businesses have come together to plant over 1,200 trees and plants and regenerate a 150m stretch of the riverbank on the Bellinger River.

We are looking to build a cohort of tree planting project volunteers. Volunteers may support with planting, weeding, mulching and watering, at bbqs or with setup or pack down.
