Our key programs are:
Youth Leading the World
The award-winning OzGREEN program Youth Leading the World (YLTW) is a bold initiative that equips young people with solution-focused tools to tackle sustainability challenges, generate a vision and innovate action plans.
YOUth LEADing the World (YLTW) is an annual program of activities, that begins with an energising 3-day youth leadership congress. Young people come together across the planet to learn about global sustainability challenges such as energy, food, climate change, biodiversity and water and plan together how they can lead positive social change.

My River
Since 2002, OzGREEN has involved over 60 regional communities and 6,000 young people in MYRiveR in the Brisbane, Bremer, Murray-Darling, Hunter, Cooks, Georges, Nepean, Onkaparinga, Yarra and Derwent River basins and internationally in India, East Timor, Pakistan and Central America.
The MYRiveR process builds collaborative relationships with indigenous leaders, business, government, non-government organisations, local communities, young people, schools and adults. Case studies from OzGREEN’s Australian and International programs, enable young people to gain first hand understanding of the global nature of local challenges.
Bellingen Riverwatch
Bellingen Riverwatch is an innovative citizen science program adopting a whole ecosystem approach. Through meaningful engagement of the community, volunteers collect long-term, scientifically rigorous data that is accessed by our eleven scientist partners to support recovery actions for the critically endangered Bellinger River Snapping Turtle and other threatened species. Data is communicated with the community to raise awareness about river health issues, encourage healthy river practices and foster environmental stewardship.
