Site B2.1

Site B2.1 is located on Cool Creek, upstream of confluence with Bellinger River, Darkwood (near B2 site).


Bellingen Riverwatch partners have tested this site for seven water quality parameters (Dissolved Oxygen, Water Temperature, Air Temperature, Electrical Conductivity, Available Phosphate, Turbidity, pH) from March 2018 ongoingly. Volunteers continue to monitor water quality at this site monthly.

Thank you to those who have gathered the water quality data for site B2.1 - currently Fiona McMullin, and previously Sonya Kumar, and to the roving volunteers that support them.

How to read our Water Quality Graphs

We interpret our water quality data by the method set out in this table to create bands of Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor and Very Poor.

Bellingen Riverwatch raw data is also available here.

The graphs below show our full dataset for each parameter to date against the ‘Very Good’, ‘Good’, ‘Fair’, ‘Poor’ and ‘Very Poor’ bands (except water and air temperature). Click on the links to view an interactive graph where you can explore each datapoint. Also shown is the Bureau of Meterology Rainfall data for the nearest station to this site (Upper Darkwood 30.45° S 152.62° E, code 059070).
